Store Unification
The Crunchyroll Store is growing, but it’s not top dog yet. When you can’t be the best, you purchase the best. Well, at least that what’s Elon Musk did with Tesla, Google with YouTube, AT&T with…you get the point.
RightStuf Anime had lots of, well, the right stuff when it came to eCommerce. Clean and stylized packaging, a massive selection of manga and print merchandise, and a great benefits programs. Crunchyroll purchased RSA to build the manga library and increase the list of items to over 40,000. Now that’s a lot of merch.
My goal as a copywriter? Write engaging, clear, detailed, nearly-legalese-customer-facing copy. No pressure. Kind of. The hurdle? Fans of RSA weren’t fans of the Crunchyroll Store.
The result of the unification campaign? We brought nearly 30% of monthly RSA shoppers over to the Crunchyroll Store with sales and promotional offers.
